Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon - East Yorkshire
Overview:
1. Fantastic salary up to £55,000 DOE
2. Cert holders at the practice (GP Cert DI and Cert SAP)
3. Other vets working towards a surgery certificate, masters in chronic pain management, small animal medicine, diagnostic imaging and ophthalmology
Due to expansion, an exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent and well-respected mixed practice in East Yorkshire.
You will be joining a talented team which consists of 13 full-time vets, 6 part-time vets, 11 RVNs, and 9 VCAs. The Practice also values a work-life balance and strives to maintain a working family team environment. The Practice is situated in beautiful East Yorkshire, close to the beach and the heritage coast.
Facilities Include:
1. 5 consult rooms
2. 2 operating theatres
3. 1 orthopaedic theatre
4. Separate cat and dog waiting rooms and wards
5. Imaging suite
6. Laparoscopy
7. CT
8. Hydrotherapy unit
The Package:
1. Salary is between £32,000 - £55,000, depending on experience
2. RCVS and BVA funded
3. 5 weeks holiday, plus bank holidays
4. Certificates are funded and encouraged
5. Health Insurance
6. Workplace pension scheme
The Role:
1. Full-Time
2. 4 day working week with a fixed day off
3. 1:5 Saturday mornings
4. 1:5 weekends on call with time back
5. Working between the hospital and one branch practice.
The Candidate:
Ideally, the candidate will be a 100% small animal veterinary surgeon; however, my client is willing to consider a mixed vet (beef and sheep) and is happy to take part in the on-call rota, but they are flexible for the right candidate.
The practice is keen to support Cert holders or those working towards them.
