Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours
£12.90 - £14.00 Per hour
Responsibilities:
* Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
* Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities
* Help students with personal care needs, if required
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
Minimum Requirements:
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Experience working with individuals with special educational needs
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting
* Understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support them
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Patience and empathy towards students with learning difficulties
Desirable Qualifications:
* Higher-level qualification in Education or SEN
* Training in safeguarding and first aid
Working Environment:
* Work in a school environment
* Potential exposure to challenging behaviour
* Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents
