Role Purpose: To work closely with our media & marketing departments and capture imagery which helps us to tell our story and grow our brand. This is a new position within the business, so the responsibilities are not set in stone. We need someone who can jump in, get things done and work with the senior leadership team to shape the future of the club. Main Duties/ Responsibilities 1. Photography - Lead the photographic output across the club, working closely with the Content & Media Manager to develop London City Lionesses photographic direction - Develop and oversee the management of the club's network of freelance and casual staff, photographic supplier relationships, photo distribution to players, staff and partners - Implement a Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution and embed it across the club, ensuring images are tagged, searchable and archived - The role includes responsibility for photographic output across all areas of the club and its teams, specifically providing coverage of all First Team matches, both home and away, pre-season camps and news items (including training sessions) - You’ll also be responsible for managing any photography linked to marketing and/or partnership campaigns - Manage the club’s relationship with all photographic suppliers, including key partners such as Getty Images, as well as any additional external photographic stakeholders who provide services or goods for the club. What we are looking for Critical Experience Significant experience in working in sporting organisations / sporting events Demonstrated skill at capturing imagery within the sport industry, with a strong portfolio Proficient in photo editing / retouching, using tools such as Photoshop & Lightroom Knowledge of social media platforms and content marketing Strong understanding of composition, lighting, colour theory and other photography principles The postholder should be open to travel and working weekends and weeknights (mainly to attend football matches).
