The successful candidate needs B2B Sales Experience specifically within Food Wholesale.
The successful candidate will be able to nurture existing relationships and help business develop new relationships with coffee shops, restaurants, and wholesalers.
Alexander Steele is thrilled to be working exclusively with an exciting bakery manufacturer in search of a Sales Representative. This is a field-based role across the UK; when not visiting customers, the ideal candidate will be in the Glasgow office.
Responsibilities:
* To increase sales with existing customers by creating Joint Business Plans (JBP), targeting growth, and agreeing terms for each year.
* To visit customers when appropriate to discuss growth and new product development.
* Attend tradeshows throughout the year for customers who have built this into their JBP’s and target further growth.
* To work closely with the creative team to provide customers with adverts and flyers that suit their needs.
* To increase sales by means of new accounts. This will be through direct targeting of wholesalers, targeting buying groups, and direct to coffee shop chains etc.
* Increase/maintain margin on sales out.
* Implement price increases when needed.
* To manage time and travel costs to be as efficient as possible.
* To maintain the company vehicle to a high standard at all times.
* Generating weekly and monthly sales reports for the executive team.
