An excellent opportunity has arisen for a full-time Trade Counter Sales Assistant to join a well-established and busy team in High Wycombe. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a customer-focused environment and enjoys variety in their daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Serving customers at the trade counter and handling inbound telephone enquiries.
2. Accurately processing customer orders using an in-house system.
3. Monitoring and maintaining stock levels, including regular stock counts.
4. Ensuring the branch is kept clean, tidy, and organised.
5. Assisting with lifting and loading of heavy goods onto vehicles as required.
Person Specification
1. A reliable, enthusiastic, and trustworthy attitude.
2. Strong customer service and sales skills, with an excellent telephone manner.
3. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
4. Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of tasks.
5. A self-motivated approach and good organisational skills.
6. Competence in basic numeracy, literacy, and computer use.
Previous experience is not required, as full training will be provided.
