As an Import Logistics Coordinator within the International Logistics Department, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimising import processes Areas of Responsibility Import Operations: Coordinate imports, sourcing, repairs, and the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process. Collaborate with stakeholders, including carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers, to streamline the importation process. Customs Compliance: Stay informed on customs regulations and trade compliance requirements. Manage the Inward Processing Relief (IPR) process from RMA to the Bill of Discharge. Prepare and submit accurate customs clearance instructions and associated paperwork. Work closely with import brokers to resolve issues and ensure regulatory compliance. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Organise and maintain comprehensive shipment records, ensuring all documentation is complete and audit-ready. Review and verify shipping documents for accuracy and compliance with customs requirements. Communication and Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless information flow. Proactively communicate with external partners to address issues and enhance the supply chain process. Requirements: Extensive experience in the international transportation or logistics industry, with a solid understanding of IPR processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Familiarity with SAP or equivalent enterprise systems (training can be provided). Exceptional attention to detail. Highly motivated, organised, and practical. Strong team player with excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
