We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Shift Coordinator for our Warehouse department. The ideal candidate will have a background in shift coordination, impeccable communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to operate FLT. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their shift, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards, within agreed timescales, and with Health and Safety in mind at all times ensuring smooth site operations.
Permanent role, Monday to Friday, on alternating shifts: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm

Key Tasks and Duties:
• Work within the ethos and standards of the company
• Monitoring daily work. Identifying and analysing problems and introduce solutions.
• Maximizing warehouse throughputs by monitoring the performance of warehouse activities, ensuring any KPI`s off target are highlighted to the production manager
• Improve and develop warehouse KPI’s, participate in and support continuous improvements initiatives.
• Manage the warehouse day to day activities, ensuring safe working practices are developed and maintained
• Providing leadership, support and guidance to your team ensuring optimum team performance
• Responsible for the controlling and monitoring of all training both internal and statutory training requirements
• Ensuring all policies and procedures are strictly adhered to by all members of your staff
• Be involved in the CAPA process for your area and ensure all actions are completed on time
• Accountable for updating and reviewing departmental SOPs, SORs, RAs and OPLs
• Accountable for conducting all relevant daily, weekly, monthly and year end counts
• Responsible for communication of department performance to your team via daily team briefs
• Assist in the investigation of internal and external complaints ensure accurate information is collected statements, documentation, photos etc.
• Maintaining Housekeeping at targeted level within the department through the involvement of all team members to ensure areas are always visitor ready.
• Accountable for managing the Automated Count Process for your area. Regular and Ongoing SAP cycle of stock
• Responsible for the upkeep and filing of all departmental documentation and personnel records
• Responsible for the management of all labour requirements within your department by managing absenteeism, holiday planning, overtime costs etc. to ensuring all processes and documentation are completed within a timely manner
• Conduct annual performance reviews with your team to ensure your team are meeting both personal and business objective by reviewing training and recording on the department’s skills matrix
• Responsible for managing the Health & Safety within your area and always maintaining a safe working environment.
• Managing the DWB process and carrying out any remedial actions in a timely manner
• Undertaking accident and incident investigation and establishing root course and rectifying any nonconformities raised
• Responsible for completing and issuing of general permits to work
• Actively interact and liaise with the other departments to assist in achievement of the overall business KPI’s
• Undertake any other tasks appropriate to the position, as requested by management
• Do flexible working hours to meet deadlines
• Deputize when required
