Key Responsibilities:
As a Housing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and delivery of high-quality housing services, including:
• Conducting estate inspections to ensure properties and communities are well-maintained.
• Overseeing property management tasks, addressing maintenance issues, and ensuring compliance with housing standards.
• Managing allocations to help individuals and families find suitable housing.
• Handling tenancy concerns and providing advice to customers on sustaining their tenancies.
• Supporting customer engagement to foster vibrant and cohesive communities.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience in estate inspections, property management, and allocations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with and support diverse customer needs.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of housing policies and procedures is desirable but not essential.
