Meeting and Events Sales Manager Job Description
We have a great opportunity for a Meeting and Events Sales Manager for a 4-star hotel in Berkshire. As Meeting and Events Sales Manager, you will head up a team of two coordinators and oversee the daily running of the hotel's M&E sales enquiries. Working closely with the revenue and proactive sales team, your focus will be to maximise sales across Meeting and Events for the hotel.

Our client is an independently owned 4-star hotel in Bracknell with a focus. This unique hotel has just over 200 bedrooms and 10 meeting rooms.
The Person
The Meeting and Events Sales Manager will have:
* Previous managerial experience in a Meeting and Events Sales function in the hotel sector
* Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high levels of performance and exceed targets
* Excellent selling capability and an ability and desire to coach selling techniques to their team
* Excellent organisational and planning skills
* Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
* Good knowledge of the local hotel market
