You will work alongside otherexperienced, friendly admin support workerswithin theSpecialist Nursing Services.
Your main roles will include:
Booking appointments
️Registering patientson the computer system
Managing databases and filing systems
Answering phone queries
Providing administrative supportto the Specialist Nurses and other team members

• Respond to Enquiries
• Handle external and internal telephone enquiries from staff, patients, and others withefficiency, tact, and diplomacy.
• Ensure that messages and information are quickly relayed to the appropriate person.
Effective Communication
• Communicate with a wide range of staff, patients, and visitors usingverbal, electronic, and other methods, ensuring information is tailored appropriately to the individual’s needs.
Database Management
• Usedatabases and computer systemsto create and maintain records, ensuring they are accurate and updated.
• Generatestatistics for analytical purposeswhere needed.
Consumables and Filing
• Assist in orderingpatient consumablesto support the team's needs.
• Ensureaccurate filingof patient investigations and correspondence, making them available onEvolve.
Mail Sorting
• Collect and sort incoming mail, ensuring it reaches the relevant Specialist Nurses or healthcare professionals for action.
️Administrative Support
• Providesecretarial and administrative assistanceto the Children's Community and Specialist Nursing Team, ensuring smooth operation and effective service delivery.
