Applications are welcome for the above permanent, full-time posts in our North Edinburgh Out-Patient Team based in Pennywell All Care Centre.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and forward-thinking registered mental health or learning disability nurse who wishes to contribute to our vision of “Getting it right for every child” and young person with mental health problems and neurodevelopmental disorders. There are opportunities to develop skills in the assessment and treatment of a range of mental health presentations such as eating disorders, mood and psychotic disorders, as well as neurodevelopmental disorders. There are excellent opportunities for further career development through our nursing clinical career pathways.
Post holders who are new to CAMHS will have the opportunity to undertake the NES “New to CAMHS” training over a 12-month period. NHS Lothian CAMHS has its own training budget and regularly organizes internal and external training events for CAMHS clinicians.
