Your Role
Customer First
1. Understand your customers strategy and translate this for Symrise
2. Build progressive business models (incl. acquisition targeting) to drive step change with our customers
3. Use Industry networking and market knowledge to drive Symrise interests
4. Lead the Key Accounts contribution to the IGP by identifying & prioritizing the growth enablers and ‘big bets’
Strategic Planning
5. Co-create with the RAMs, Global Categories and Global Competences contribution, a deliverable Key Account growth strategy
6. Lead the Key Account contribution to the IGP by identifying and prioritizing the growth enablers and ‘Big Bets’
7. Deliver the Key Account’s AOP
Financial and Performance Management
8. Achieve sustainable and profitable growth for the Key Account through regional delivery of co-created Customer strategic plan
9. Manage and monitor the gross profitability and profit contribution according to set target values
Sales & Customer Management
10. Achieve Global sales growth and targets in accordance to the agreed budget
11. Lead the global sales budget / forecast program within the business planning cycle
12. Ensure regions use the CX (CRM System), PACE and EIS systems accurately
Brief To Contract Management
13. Deliver major briefs and be the lead for Symrise when accepting briefs
14. Act as the primary Symrise point of contact for all incoming big bets to ensure alignment of the Accounts needs with a Flavors business value proposition to deliver a ‘winning taste solution’.
15. Set the pricing strategy through the ‘value chain’, for the Key Account, to ensure the working cost of the ‘winning taste solution’ is optimized
Project Management
16. Conduct kick off /project meetings to key stakeholders supporting the Key Account team within the business
17. Monitor Big Bet projects in PACE and/or CX to ensure the deliverable goals are met within the set timeframe
18. Lead the evaluation process to improve project submission win rates
19. Coordinate technical support to the Key Account in case of major claim requests that could impact on the Key Account relationship.
Customer Service & Product Stewardship
20. Monitor and resolve Key Account complaints through action and follow up ensuring there is clear priority within the SLM
21. Monitor Scorecard performance and set continuous improvement goals to meet the Key account’s expectation and competitor performance.
People & Team Management
22. Build, maintain and facilitate a customer team that operates with clear accountability along Symrise’s KAM process and is fully involved in the co-creation, review and delivery of the Customer Strategy. Develop a Key Account succession plan for your key accountBuild an effective awareness of the business to meet the needs of the Key AccountEnsure that support teams are inspired and have ‘buy in’ of the Key Account’s strategies, projects and any global initiatives that impact on the Key Account
