Role Overview and Requirements
This is a full-time on-site position for a Graduate Structural Engineer at F J Samuely & Partners. Key responsibilities will include site visits, conducting calculations, structural analysis, and utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software to support the firm's structural and civil engineering projects.
The ideal candidate will have between 1-3+ years of postgraduate experience and be aiming to obtain chartered status soon. We offer the opportunity to gain valuable experience towards chartership while working on a diverse range of interesting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct site visits and gather data for project documentation
* Perform structural calculations and analyses to ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations
* Utilize CAD software to create detailed designs and models
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges
Requirements:
* Full UK driver's license
* Possession of a car for work-related travel
Qualifications:
* Strong grasp of mathematical calculations and structural analysis principles
* Proficiency in structural and civil engineering concepts
* Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
* Previous internship or work experience in structural engineering
Package:
* Salary: £28K+ (dependent on experience)
