Key Responsibilities: Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Provide individual and small group support to pupils, ensuring all children make progress in their learning and development. Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being. Assist in the observation, assessment, and recording of children's development, contributing to planning and next steps. Encourage the development of key skills in communication, early literacy, and numeracy through structured and play-based activities. Promote the academy’s values by modelling Respect, Responsibility, and Pride in all interactions with pupils, colleagues, and families Support with the organisation of resources and the learning environment to enhance pupils' engagement and independence. Provide pastoral support and contribute to the wider life of the school community.
