About the role
This full-time Quality Control & Data Officer role, reporting to the Procurement Lead, will play a key part in maintaining and improving the quality standards of our products. The role is integral to the ongoing success of al.ive body, ensuring quality control and improvement are paramount, while maintaining accurate data to ensure compliance with organisational standards and regulatory requirements.
This position will be responsible for the areas of:
* Quality Control
* Quality Improvement
* Data Management
* Data Reporting
* Collaboration / Relationships
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct quality control inspections and tests
* Ensure all quality control processes and documentation are completed accurately and on time
* Analyse quality data and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
* Collaborate with research and development and operations departments to resolve quality issues, recommend corrective actions, and lead the implementation of preventive measures and corrective actions
* Maintain detailed records of all quality control activities
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency and productivity
* Provide training and guidance to staff on quality control best practices
* Maintain and update databases with accurate and up-to-date information
* Collect and document data on product quality, defects, and process performance
* Build effective collaborative relationships with quality service providers and suppliers both domestically and internationally
Essential Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in quality management or similar certification preferred
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a quality control or assurance role, preferably with experience in skincare, home, beauty, fashion, and/or FMCG sectors
* Knowledge of Quality Control Standards and Techniques
* Excellent data analysis, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
* Proven experience in implementing quality control systems and procedures
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
