As we embark on the next phase of our customer-centric, value creation journey, we are seeking a Digital Marketing Executive (SEO, PPC) to drive our eCommerce strategy and performance. As part of our E-Commerce team, reporting to our Head of E-Commerce you’ll be accountable for acquiring new customers in a cost-effective way (CAC) by developing and implementing the SEO and PPC strategy and plan for our eCommerce websites.
Core Responsibilities:
* Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with customers. Provide exceptional support and ensure customers’ needs are met post-purchase.
* Retention Strategy Development: Develop and implement customer retention strategies and programs. Segment customers and create personalized communications to increase loyalty.
* Data-Driven Insights: Analyse customer data to identify trends, behaviours, and opportunities for engagement. Monitor retention metrics, including churn rates and customer lifetime value (CLV), and adjust strategies as needed.
* Email Marketing & Engagement: Manage and optimize email campaigns targeting customer retention (newsletters, offers, product recommendations). Drive customer re-engagement through targeted messaging and offers.
* Customer Feedback & Improvement: Gather and analyse customer feedback through surveys, reviews, and direct interactions. Work with product and customer service teams to resolve issues and improve the customer experience.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with the eCommerce, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience. Collaborate on loyalty programs and other initiatives that drive customer retention.
* Reporting & Communication: Regularly report on retention performance to key stakeholders. Share insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in customer retention.
The Digital Marketing Executive in this role must balance the long-term growth benefits of SEO with the immediate results of PPC, creating a cohesive acquisition strategy that maximizes customer engagement and eCommerce sales. The role is highly analytical, with a strong focus on metrics and continuous optimization to drive sustainable growth.
We are looking for someone who will bring their performance marketing expertise to elevate and scale our ecommerce business to be a multimillion-dollar success story. You will have a proven track record in doing so and will also demonstrate:
* Expertise in SEO and PPC Best Practices : Proficiency in online sales strategy, digital marketing, UX/UI, and P&L management
* Platform and Tool Management : Knowledge of SEO and PPC platform and tools and ability to manage multiple campaigns.
* Analytical Strength : Skilled in data-driven decision-making and performance monitoring
* Collaboration Skills : Ability to partner with other functions both in the E-Commerce Team and the wider corporate team.
* Passion for Gardening : Interest in horticulture or experience in a gardening-related business is a bonus!
