Ready to take your bid coordination skills to the next level?
We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Bid Co-ordinator to join our dynamic team at Camex Civil. With a strong pipeline of projects and a reputation for excellence in civil construction, this is your chance to play a pivotal role in securing new business while working closely with industry experts.
The Role:
As a Bid Coordinator at Camex Civil, you'll be central to the preparation, submission, and management of competitive bids. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure our tender submissions are accurate, compelling, and strategically aligned with our business objectives. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather the necessary information, ensuring all documents meet deadlines and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Bid Management: You’ll manage the entire bid process, coordinating with the Business Development and Tenders Manager, Estimators, and Tender Administrators to ensure the successful creation of both price and non-price components. You will organise workflows, schedule reviews, and make sure all deliverables align with the company’s goals and deadlines.
2. Content Development: You’ll work with the Business Development Team and external Bid Writers to create clear, persuasive bid documents. This includes preparing staff CVs, project profiles, and submissions for small to medium tenders, ensuring content is accurate and well-structured.
3. Collaboration: You’ll liaise with the Commercial and Operations teams to review contract documentation, prepare commercial tags, and support the bid strategy. You’ll coordinate inputs from different teams to produce high-quality submissions.
4. Estimating Support: You’ll develop competency in using PRO-EST software to assist with compiling estimates for bids, working closely with Estimators and Project Managers to ensure bids are priced accurately and competitively.
5. Marketing Support: You’ll also collaborate with the Marketing Committee to ensure bid content aligns with the company’s broader marketing strategy, promoting our services effectively.
What You’ll Bring:
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organised, and has a strong attention to detail.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* At least 2 years' experience in bid coordination or other relevant transferable experience.
* Excellent writing, editing, and document management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn bidding software (experience with PRO-EST and MYOB CRM would be an advantage).
* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and clients.
* A methodical approach to managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
* The ability to interpret technical information and present it clearly and persuasively.
* Experience in creating marketing content would be beneficial.
You’ll also have a passion for learning and continuous improvement, as we are always seeking ways to enhance our processes and the quality of our submissions.
