Project Developer
Are you ready to save the planet one solar panel and one wind turbine at a time? We're on the lookout for an Project Developer to join our merry band of renewable energy enthusiasts. You'll help push forward projects in Italy — and while the projects are in Italy, many of us are living the London life (yes, we know it's rainy). So if you're based in London and can survive on coffee and optimism, keep reading.
You'll work alongside a team that speaks fluent bureaucracy and renewable energy jargon, navigating the thrilling worlds of local stakeholders, regulatory mazes, and occasional mild panic. Reporting directly to project managers (don’t worry, they're nice), you’ll be the bridge between early-stage dreams and real-world green energy projects.
This role is for someone who’s curious, ambitious, slightly obsessed with clean energy, and ready to become a professional at balancing meetings, site maps, and the endless joy of spreadsheets.
What You'll Be Doing (A.K.A. Your Hero's Journey)
*
Help drive forward a pipeline of Italian wind, solar, and battery storage projects (yes, you can call them your "babies").
*
Coordinate with internal and external teams without losing your sanity.
*
Keep project managers updated with clear reports — bonus points for keeping them under three pages.
*
Review technical studies and feasibility reports like the eagle-eyed renewable warrior you are.
*
Collaborate with the engineering team (they’re smarter than Google Maps).
*
Contribute ideas and elbow grease to keep the project pipeline flowing and fabulous.
Skills We're Looking For
*
Solid project management skills (if you’ve managed a group chat, you’re halfway there).
*
Ability to use QGIS or ArcGIS without swearing too much.
*
An eye for detail so sharp you can spot a typo in a legal document from 20 feet away.
*
Time management wizardry.
*
Communication skills that make even complex plans sound like a Netflix pitch.
*
Italian: native or fluent (gesturing wildly doesn’t count).
*
English: professional level, written and spoken (extra points if you can joke in it).
What You've Got (Hopefully)
*
A degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or another degree you can explain to your relatives at Christmas.
*
Some background in renewable energy would be great, but if not, being smart, adaptable, and willing to learn goes a long way.
Perks and Benefits
*
Competitive salary (so you can stop pretending you like instant ramen).
*
Performance-based bonus (because you deserve a little extra sparkle).
*
Support for industry certifications (yes, you'll finally have an excuse to add letters after your name).
*
Monthly team development sessions (we promise they're less boring than they sound)
