Full GMC Registration with a license to practice
Section 12 certification, or a commitment to work towards this.
Mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders in adults
At least 4 years of full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time basis) of which at least 2 years will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty or as a fixed term specialty trainee or shall have equivalent experience and competencies

We are currently recruiting for an Adult Psychiatry Specialty Doctor in Waltham Forest Home Treatment Team, based at Tantallon House, Goodmayes Hospital, Barley Lane, Ilford IG3 8XJ. This is a new post, due to additional demand on service delivery. We are keen to recruit to this position.
You will join two full-time Consultant Psychiatrists, a 0.6wte Associate Specialist, and 3wte Core Trainees in the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.
Job responsibilities
You will be expected to:
Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to adult people with mental health needs, across Waltham Forest.
Provide senior medical support to the team, and direct input on clinical cases
Provide guidance and supervision to the team
Work directly with adults and their families and liaise as appropriate with community adult consultant psychiatrists and specialty doctors in mental health
Support the Home Treatment Teams in managing bed occupancy
Work alongside two full-time Consultant Psychiatrists, a 0.6wte Associate Specialist, and 3wte Core Trainees.
Develop links already established with the local acute trusts A&E departments and adult services
