Operations and Installations Manager JOB LOCATION: Milton Keynes SALARY: Up to £65,000 Car Allowance Goals: Develop the repair and support strategy within the business to utilise and enhance management information, promoting and directing service strategies across the organisation. Installation support – Manage BAU installation activities along with service support management for other peers. Align with technical support to ensure BAU programmes for all products are in place, spare parts are planned accordingly with the SCMT, resources are justified according to engineer utilisation, and engineers are available and trained to the correct levels. Monitor left-over call rates – review cause and corrective actions. Monitor engineer utilisation. Strategy Development: Enhance KPI reporting to increase efficiency in the workshop and Customer Support Team, reporting weekly on call rates and engineer utilisation. Develop the Customer Support Team with the Customer Support Supervisor to be a central administration function, including fleet management, flight, and hotel arrangements. Ensure all SLA’s are being met, with MI information reviewed and reported to the management team. Manage leave and scheduling – review systems and processes and adapt accordingly. Manage SAP rollout and review utilisation with a focus on continuous improvement. Implement and promote the engineer development programme (Technical/Management) and report monthly to the Head of Service.
