A fantastic opportunity for an experienced VAT Manager or Senior Manager has arisen in this global Group with an impressive growth story achieved from a combination of acquisition and organic growth. Reporting to the Director of Tax, you will lead a team of two and take ownership over indirect tax globally.
With support of the Head of Tax, your will focus will be on international indirect tax and commercial projects that involve multiple senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
* Design and implement the strategy for indirect tax
* Lead, support and advise the tax compliance team on the indirect tax treatment of new transactions
* Identify indirect tax policy changes that will impact the business and advise and implement solutions accordingly
* Drive opportunities that will optimise the cash flow around VAT
* Partner with the business to advise on the correct treatment of VAT with new product lines and restructures
* Ensure technical accuracy of worldwide indirect tax filings.
The role has huge amount of potential in the short term as well as exciting career opportunities in the medium to long term. You must have a strong technical knowledge coupled with a commercial acumen. The client will consider Senior Managers coming straight from the profession or experienced Managers with commercial experience, gained either from working in-house or on secondment(s).
The Group can be very flexible on where you are based as have multiple offices across the UK and Ireland, so can accommodate candidates across the UK.
