We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join the team in our office in Northallerton. Within the role you will oversee and take a lead on a wide range of general administrative and reception duties.
Working closely with other members of the team, you will be an excellent communicator with an organised approach and possess the ability to solve problems by using your initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Typing of letters, emails, reports
2. Reception duties including answering the telephone, dealing with queries, redirecting calls as necessary and taking messages; greeting visitors; making sure office supplies are well stocked
3. Photocopying, scanning, printing & electronic filing as well as Outlook email management
4. Upkeep of client and management filing & electronic filing
5. Opening and distribution of incoming post; delivering outgoing post to local post office/franked mail post box
6. Assist with the management of the office as required on a day-to-day basis including facilities management, ordering stationary and organising office events
7. Diary management/arranging meetings
8. Any other reasonable duties, as required, to ensure the smooth running of the office
The skills we are looking for in you:
1. Good general knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint
2. Organised with a proactive and problem-solving approach to tasks
3. Excellent standard of written English language
4. Professional telephone manner
5. Well presented with a warm and welcoming manner
6. Good level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
7. Ability to prioritise busy workload and manage time
8. Ability to act on initiative whilst also working within Company processes and procedures
9. High attention to detail
10. Ability to deal with clients at all levels and always maintain confidentiality
11. Ability to remain calm under pressure
Key information you need to know:
Hours: Mon to Fri 9am till 5pm (1 hour for lunch)
1 Saturday in 3 9am till 12noon on Rota basis

Pay: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
