Our client, a highly successful organisation based in High Wycombe, is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team.
They're ideally looking for a qualified accountant who is able to demonstrate an understanding of how a commercial business operates and what drives project success.
The role is full time, office based, and comes with a competitive salary and good benefits.
Duties include
1. Monthly review meetings with key stakeholders to review and challenge variance analysis
2. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including VAT, corporation tax
3. Liaise with advisors and external auditors when required
4. Seek improvements to the financial reporting system and processes
5. Coordinate and prepare finance material for Board meetings
6. Provide information to potential clients to secure new business
7. Ownership of the cost centre and any cross-charges, within 2 Companies
8. Production of Monthly Management Accounts and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
9. Management of Purchase Ledger, overseeing Supplier Payments
10. Sales Ledger and Debtor management
11. Monthly / Quarterly / Yearly forecasting and budgeting
12. Month end processes and ensuring financial controls are in place
13. Sales and revenue analysis
14. Preparing cash flow forecasts
15. VAT Returns and bank reconciliations
