Job Description:
Looking for a new challenge?
We are now recruiting for a Support Worker to join our friendly, well-established team at our Residential service in Dereham, Norfolk.
Roles are permanent, with part & full time contracts available for up to 37.5 hours. We are offering Support Workers in Dereham £12.25 per hour / £23,888 per annum FTE, with a 20p per hour enhancement for weekend shifts.
We support 6 individuals in our home. Each individual is provided with care and support tailored to their individual needs, including complex communication needs, physical health conditions, and multi-sensory impairments.
Care is provided around the clock. We take pride in the range of activities and wellbeing events we provide. You will often find yourself out on offsite activities, day trips, and holidays. Examples of community activities include horse riding, bowling, swimming, and music lessons. Your role would also include personal care, medication administration, and a small amount of manual handling (hoisting) where necessary.
A full manual UK license is required as we have manual company vehicles used to drive and take individuals to appointments, activities outside of the home, and trips. We are flexible in our shifts, with general shift patterns as follows: 7:00am-4:00pm and 4:00pm-10:00pm. Sleep-ins are also available as overtime, which will be discussed with you at interview.
