To work as part of the commercial catering division, Academy catering, providing quality catering and support services to customers throughout the College facilities.
Principle Accountabilities
1. To perform work as required by the Catering Services Co-ordinator in any area of operation e.g. Students Centre, Bistro, Restaurant, Central Stores, Retail Shop and to include any of the following duties:
1. Preparation of simple food items e.g. sandwiches, chips, etc.
2. Service of food to customers.
3. Working on tills.
4. Setting up and restocking service counters.
5. Washing up in appropriate areas.
6. Washing of pots and pans where needed.
7. Assisting in clearing and cleaning of tables in dining areas where appropriate.
8. Cleaning utensils, equipment and surfaces in accordance with Academy Catering Health and Safety Policies.
9. Collection, sorting and delivery of linen/laundry to all areas of catering facility.
10. Delivering food/beverages throughout the College.
11. To support College policies, procedures and quality assurance systems.
12. To perform such other duties commensurate with the grade of the post as required by your Line Manager.

2. Ensure students know that there are staff in the College whom they can approach if they are worried.
3. Include opportunities in the curriculum for students to develop the skills they need to recognise and stay safe from abuse.
4. All staff will be required to undertake appropriate safeguarding induction and training.
