Our company is seeking an Administrator to provide an efficient and proactive administrative support service to the head office team. The successful candidate will need to be highly organised, reliable, flexible and methodical – being able to prioritise their duties and meet deadlines. They should possess strong communication skills (both verbal and written), and the ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining a high level of service to both colleagues and clients. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who can work under their own initiative as well as being a team player to enable them to integrate into the team and company as a whole. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver and organised. Ensuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position. Hours of Work Monday-Friday 9am -5pm (37.5 Hrs per week) Key Duties and Responsibilities To work as part of a team, supporting colleagues to deliver an excellent administrative service. To organise work tasks and duties to meet agreed standards and time frames. To undertake daily administrative tasks such as data entry and processing. Managing telephone enquiries and message taking where necessary. Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail. To use internal IT applications and databases effectively to deliver administrative tasks. To communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in relation to work undertaken. To work with others and participate in meetings to help improve work organisation and effectiveness. To follow health and safety practices. Any other ad-hoc tasks required by the team or senior management. Key Skills, knowledge and experience Good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload and be able to understand and follow instructions. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, liaising with colleagues and other departments within District Enforcement. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). Able to accurately enter/retrieve data from internal systems. Good attention to detail. Desire to provide a high level of service to both colleagues and clients.
