About the role The Delivery Manager will be responsible for our delivery life-cycle. Making sure all stakeholders are up to date with deliverables and deadlines. Facilitating team meetings and scrum meetings to achieve companies and clients’ goals. This position will based at our Aberdeen office (hybrid working model) Day to day duties will include (but not limited to): Prioritizing the backlog in Jira and assign tasks in sprints Create a yearly overview of deliverables and team capacity Support the Projects Managers with project deliverables Manage Maintenance releases and release notes Cultivating a culture of ongoing improvement within your immediate team and across broader program engagements. Monitoring team performance, including comparing forecasts to actual velocity, Tracking release burnup charts, metrics related to defect management, and similar data, then communicating these insights to senior stakeholders. Jira ownership and re-vamp Identify, evaluate, and implement new technologies and solutions that drive innovation and business growth. Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the delivery team to achieve business and technical goals. Foster a high-performance culture within the tech team, ensuring talent development, engagement, and retention. Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of delivery staff. Establish clear objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics to ensure the delivery team delivers high-quality outcomes.
