Manager, Community Engagement As the Manager, Community Engagement, you play a critical role in representing Ezee Fiber Construction efforts at municipal meetings, community gatherings, HOA Meetings, Utility Districts, and other various forums. You will support the construction initiatives and priorities of the company by serving as the primary point of contact for various government officials, economic development agencies, and community organizations. You will be proactive in providing feedback on community viewpoints, as well as educating communities on the construction process. You will attend community events to maintain relationships with new and established communities within our service area. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and independent worker with strong communication skills, both written and verbal. The right candidate must possess an outgoing personality with a strong focus on relationship building. Responsibilities Support the Engineering and Construction process by researching and identifying HOA’s and community groups within future build areas. Independently build and manage relationships with government officials, community leaders, and community organizations, mainly HOA’s and Water Utilities, throughout the life cycle of construction in multiple build areas. Serve as the primary point of contact between community leaders, and Ezee Fiber leadership. Ensure timely communication with the community regarding permitting, construction, and maintenance timelines and expectations of upcoming and current construction projects. Coordinate meetings between key community organizations, Ezee Fiber Construction Managers, and Contractors. Plan, execute, and lead community engagement events and specific projects to educate residents on the construction process and foster support for new fiber expansion projects. Identify opposition and related risks to project success and help implement mitigation strategies. Qualifications High diploma or equivalent Associate Degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred 2 years’ experience in community/customer care, government relations, or utility construction. Background in project management with strong organizational skills. Knowledge of general construction practices. Requires experience preparing and delivering presentations. Ability to work independently or collectively with a team. Ability to produce and deliver in-depth reports and presentations to internal and external partners. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with confidential information with integrity. Strong written and verbal communication skills to present and share information with internal and external audiences. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
