Main duties of the job This is a very exciting time As a senior member of the team, you will be in a position to influence and affect the care we deliver. The successful candidate will have responsibility for Theatres areas on both sites. The activity in these areas comes from a variety of surgical specialties for both adults and paediatrics and includes acute, trauma and maternity theatres. We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our Theatre teams; you will be supported in the role by a Theatre and PACU lead and Operations Manager. Team working is vital in this role and you must demonstrate strong leadership skills ensuring that you are able tocommunicate effectively with the entire theatre team. The post holder will inspire and motivate all grades of staff and will be expected to display personal qualities of empathy, compassion and care for others both colleagues and patients, being at all times a role model. As a post with a managerial or leadership component supporting services based across multiple sites, you may be required to travel as part of your role.
