Senior Network Engineer (contract) I am recruiting for a senior network engineer to work for a financial services client. You will be securing networked systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining, and monitoring access. The role will be BAU. Experience Experienced with firewalls especially working with Cisco, Fortigate, Juniper or Palo Alto. Strong technical expertise with Cisco devices, including ACI. Able to demonstrate significant network and voice experience. Installation and configuration FortiGate firewalls and FortiManager clusters. Virtualisation Fortigate gateways for VDOMs firewalls and FortiManagers for ADOMs Experience with routing protocols - OSPF and BGP Experience with routing technologies such as VRF, VDC, ACL, NAT, etc Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP Routing & Switching) or equivalent level of experience. Network Security Detailed knowledge in TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN, Wireless, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and network monitoring tools Any experience with AWS or Azure Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems and services Collaborative team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional communication & teamwork skills Any experience within banking, financial or investment banking would be usefulThis roles is fully remote in the UK, 12 months length in contract, rate is £399 per day via umbrella, inside IR35.
