The three Partner Trusts have set an objective of creating a single procurement function which will help support the sustainable provision of clinical and non-clinical services. A newly formed Humber & North Yorkshire Procurement Collaborative, hosted by Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, will provide procurement and supply chain services to its Partner Trusts, and may extend over time to service other bodies within the Integrated Care System.
You will work as the Procurement Business Manager across all Partner Trusts supporting a comprehensive office service to the senior leadership team and a coordination role across the wider team. You will support the senior leadership team in managing the administrative requirements across all areas of Procurement and Supply Chain ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

Main duties of the job
You will act as the day-to-day manager for the department overseeing all first level grievances and discipline, appraisals, allocation of work, training and development. This will require you to collate information, track process and chase line managers to ensure compliance against all policies and procedures of the Partner Trusts.
You will work guided by precedent and clearly defined procedures. Works without supervision however can seek advice from Line Manager when required.
You will actively support all staff in meeting their own development needs and aspirations through the collation and sharing of training and development opportunities which are provided locally, regionally and nationally.

Experience
* Experience of standard business practices.
* NHS experience.

* IT literate and evidence of modern working practices.

Qualifications
* Requires knowledge of standard computer systems such as Microsoft products.
* Range of work procedures and practices, majority non-routine which requires a BTEC or equivalent level knowledge around a range of trust policies and management procedures requiring ongoing on-the-job training and experience.
* Holds a European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) or equivalent knowledge obtained through a diploma.
