I am looking for a Registered Manager to run a luxury home with 56 beautifully appointed bedroom suites and superb facilities throughout. The home offers nursing, dementia, and residential care in a modern, purpose-built home located in a quiet, tree-lined road overlooking the grade two-listed historic park, Prince’s Park.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide leadership and direction to the home’s staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy.
2. Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a team of skilled care professionals committed to delivering person-centred care.
3. Ensure that the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintain excellent standards of care and support.
4. Manage the home’s budget, ensuring that financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed.
5. Develop and implement a well-thought-out marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home’s services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders.
6. Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns.
7. Have oversight of all records to ensure that the home’s administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
8. Continuously monitor and evaluate the home’s performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
9. Manage and mitigate risks effectively, ensuring that the home is a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.
Requirements:
1. NMC registration as a Nurse (preferable).
2. Experience in a similar role.
3. An in-depth understanding of the regulatory requirements such as Health and Social Care Act, CQC regulations, KLOEs, and rating characteristics.
4. Passion for providing high-quality person-centred care and a dynamic, driven approach with clear ambition to develop.
5. Experience of working with people who have dementia.
