IT Manager - Gloucestershire School
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide technical and strategic support for the school's ICT infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation and continuous development.
* To oversee the management of IT Strategy and Project Planning, working closely with the School Business Leader and Senior Leadership team to drive implementation.
* To stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve the school's IT services.
* To collaborate with teachers and staff to identify and address their IT needs, providing effective solutions and support.
* To manage the maintenance and repair of school IT equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
Requirements:
* A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role, with a strong background in technology and project management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work arrangements.
Salary:
£33,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus 28% Pension Scheme (LGPS).
