Oswestry School is an independent, co-educational day & boarding school, with a 11-18 senior school of c.400 pupils (120 of whom board) and a 4-11 Prep School of c.120 pupils. Part-time Estates/Bursary Administrator
Oswestry School is seeking a part-time administrator to assist in the Bursary Department of the school, reporting to both the Estates Manager and Finance Manager. You will be responsible for:
1. School transport (school mini-bus bookings);
2. Health & safety administration;
3. Ensuring post and deliveries to the school;
4. General finance/estates administration support as required.
Hours of work are part-time 20 hours per week (working 1.00pm to 5.00pm Monday to Friday all year round). Remuneration for this role will be at National Living Wage. The successful candidate will need to have a friendly and polite manner to greet guests, visitors and contractors both in person or on the telephone. Good computer IT skills especially with spreadsheets, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and organisational skills are essential. Previous Health and Safety administration knowledge is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
