The role - Youth Mentor - Newham
Work closely with students who have challenging behaviour or mental health challenges, this will be done either in small groups or on a one-to-one basis
Assisting with the identification of pupils in need of extra support in the classroom
Develop strategies that can be used by students to manage their behaviour in a more effective manner
As part of the process of creating action plans, set targets that will help improve the behaviour of a student
