WHS EDSP Coordinator, Workplace Health & Safety (WHS)
The WHS EDSP Coordinator will be responsible for providing safety guidance to third-party sites (EDSPs), providing technical support to comply with local regulations, and performing safety audits to enhance the safety culture within our partners. You will lead safety initiatives at EDSPs, participate in incident investigations, analyze safety metrics, create safety training, and collaborate with EDSP, ACES, and the Learning team.
You will instruct and train Operations Leaders in Amazon safety policies and assist the EDSP team in influencing safety standards at our partner sites. You will work to identify best practices and incorporate these standard methodologies into our standards to continuously improve the safety culture.
WHS EDSP Coordinator Responsibilities:
1. Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with all applicable local regulations to enhance safety culture within our partners.
2. Monitor EDSPs' safety performance against published requirements in safety policies. For all deficiencies, identify a plan for the site to implement and fix.
3. Perform safety audits to align with global local regulations to enhance safety culture within our partners.
4. Deliver continuous improvement.
5. Analyze safety metrics and review daily, weekly, and monthly incidents to discover trends to rationalize the allocation of appropriate resources to areas where the safety risk is highest.
6. Perform frequent site safety audits to identify all non-compliance equipment and/or processes. Implement solutions to eliminate exposure to these risks and prevent injury.
7. Audit workplace organization and Associate behaviors to ensure that training, auditing, and scoring methods are accurate and consistent.
8. Perform and report incident investigations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's Degree;
* Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays;
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* English Skills.
