We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for delivery to join our People, Safety and Culture Team as an Engagement Manager/Communication Manager on a 6 month fixed term contract .
Reporting to the Senior Engagement Manager, the Engagement Manager will support in leading Communications activities across Gist’s channels, ensuring they are effective, engaging, and project our culture and business values. The role is responsible for managing the key messages and delivery of communications through the appropriate channels to inform and engage colleagues, customers and other key groups. They will also support with the management of our social media channels and create communications materials that bring our messages to life to ensure we develop and maintain a strong brand identity.

Role details:
Salary: £45,000 per annum DOE
Hours: 37.5 per week
Working pattern: Monday to Friday
Location: Chineham, RG24 8UB – Hybrid
What you’ll do:
9. Create communications materials using specialist software tools including the Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software, Visme, Brightsign software, web authoring tools and the Gist Hub app content management system
10. Manage the communication plan in partnership with internal functions and business units to deliver an engaging and relevant communication calendar
11. Support the communications coordinator and design approach in line with the Gist brand guidelines
12. Plan communication projects for business programmes to ensure good understanding and engagement with key stakeholders in line with Gist’s vision, values and objectives and brand guidelines.
13. Implement a clear and consistent brand for Gist sites through signage, distribution of communications and other branded materials
Who you are
14. 3+ years’ experience in communications
15. Leading communication plan development and implementation with senior stakeholders
16. Adobe creative cloud training and/or 1+ years’ experience in the software suite
17. Excellent digital content experience across social media, website and intranet
18. Experience in video editing, digital signage, intranet management
19. Excellent writing and editing skills
20. Experience managing multi-channel marketing communications campaigns
21. Stakeholder engagement and relationship management
22. Excellent interpersonal skills ability to engage with all levels of the business
23. Social media training and/or experience
