We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and highly technical Senior Business Analyst to join our client, an international media entertainment organisation. This role supports the applications that manage the distribution of content across physical and digital media systems and enables the analysis of consumer trends and content performance. Key responsibilities include: Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with International stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their processes, data dependencies, workflows, and technological needs. Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the expert on applications and systems, supporting product planning, distribution, and licensing functions. Reporting & Analytics: Build and develop comprehensive reporting and analytics for the Digital Distribution business using Power BI (creating workspaces, managing complex datasets, and utilising best practices for reporting and visualisations). Operational Support: Act as the primary point of escalation for day-to-day operational activities and support questions. Project Management Methodologies: Engage with business stakeholders to identify, prioritise, and manage new project and enhancement requests. Knowledge IT project management methodologies and SDLC processes (Agile Scrum, Waterfall) is also essential. Requirements Gathering: Lead discovery and requirements sessions with business and technical teams, documenting functional requirements and use cases. Collaboration: Work with product and engineering teams to deliver application enhancements and support. Oversight & Quality Assurance: Provide oversight of technical teams, review technical designs, and ensure deliverables meet business requirements. User Acceptance & Training: Coordinate user acceptance testing, user training, and change management with business stakeholders. To be considered you will have extensive experience in IT application development or support roles engaging directly with business users. You will also have a background either in Data Analyst or Data Engineering you will be confident with developing reporting and analytics. You will also demonstrate strong SQL skills with experience in complex joins, analytical functions, and common table expressions. Any experience in the Media & Entertainment industry or with the manufacturing/distribution of packaged media is highly advantageous.
