If you've got a knack for fast-paced food production, a keen eye for detail, and a love for all things food, then you might just be the perfect filling for our team Job Description: Join The Compleat Food Group as a Lead Production Operative at our cutting-edge food production site, where we craft delicious products. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee production lines, ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities include coordinating team activities, troubleshooting issues, and implementing process improvements to optimize productivity. You'll work closely with the production manager to ensure that our innovative products consistently meet customer expectations. With your leadership and commitment to excellence, you'll help drive our mission to create sustainable, market leading food options. Key Duties: Supervise and support production team members Oversee daily production operations and schedules Conduct quality inspections and address issues Enforce health and safety regulations Maintain production records and prepare reports Train and mentor new and existing team members Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Collaborate with maintenance to minimize equipment downtime Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) Requirements: Previous experience in food production, preferably in a supervisory role Strong leadership and communication skills Knowledge of food production processes and safety regulations Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Attention to detail and commitment to quality Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects Flexibility to work won3off rotating shift pattern Benefits to Include: Enhanced rates for all overtime Free Parking Sink your teeth into discounts with our online and high-street retailer discount scheme and benefits portal.
