Job Description:
South West Norse is established in delivering catering, cleaning, and facilities management services to a portfolio of clients in the local region in partnership with Devon County Council, combining local knowledge with service delivery expertise.
As we recognise the importance of building a strong kitchen team to be a key ingredient to our catering success, we currently have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Woodlands Park Primary School on a permanent, part-time basis.
The Role:
You will be supporting all aspects of the catering service including ensuring completion of the preparation, cooking, presentation and service of our nutritious food and beverage outlets to students and staff while complying with food hygiene, Health and Safety and QA procedures.
This customer-facing role will provide you with great exposure to all aspects of the catering environment with lots of opportunities to learn and develop your skills within the industry.
Whilst you will be supporting the Kitchen Manager with lunch preparation at Castle Primary, there are opportunities to cover over lunchtimes at other local sites (if you have access to a vehicle and full UK driving license is held).
Our Successful Candidate:
* Previous catering experience or willing to be trained in your new role.
* Friendly and polite customer service.
* Capable of working to deadlines in a busy environment.
* Working within a team.
* Full UK Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle to meet travel requirements (desirable).
