Application Support Analyst (SQL & Business-Facing)
Location: Surrey – on site 2-3 days p/w
Salary: £35-38k

About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Application Support Analyst who knows their way around SQL and is not afraid to get stuck into live database issues. This role is not for someone who simply follows a list of FAQs—we need a problem-solver who can investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues at their root.
You will be the primary point of contact for this application across the business, meaning you must be comfortable speaking with stakeholders. If you are easily flustered, this will not be the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
* Database Troubleshooting & Fixes – Investigate issues, analyse data inconsistencies, and implement fixes directly in SQL.
* Business Engagement – Act as the key contact for updates, providing clear explanations of issues, fixes, and ongoing improvements.
* Incident & Problem Management – Identifying long-term solutions rather than temporary workarounds.
* On-Call Support – Be prepared to provide out-of-hours support (with additional pay).
