The Role:
You will:
* Deliver high-quality teaching tailored to the individual needs of children with Special Educational Needs.
* Plan and implement engaging, differentiated lessons to support pupils academic and personal development.
* Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and parents to ensure EHCP goals are met.
* Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress regularly.
* Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment where children feel valued and supported.
* Contribute to the wider school community and actively participate in team planning and CPD opportunities.
To be successful, you will need:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience working with children with special educational needs (preferably in a primary setting)
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to teaching
* Strong knowledge of SEN strategies, including behaviour management and adaptive learning
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
