We are very busy Emergency Department, treating on average 50,000 patients a year. We are looking for a Band 6 Urgent Care Co-ordinator to join our pro-active and dynamic team.
We are looking for a highly skilled and accomplished Health Care Professional, who is well motivated and committed to high standards of patient care and personal professional development. To support the Urgent Care Leadership team in maintaining efficient, effective, safe delivery of patient care. To work closely with and build relationships with the UTC GP, Emergency Paediatric Nursing Team, Emergency Care Practitioners, Triage and Streaming health care professionals.
We will provide a supportive atmosphere, mentorship and clinical supervision within the Clinical Unit and are committed to the professional development of all staff.
Team working and leadership are an integral part of the Unit, and all staff enabled and empowered to make a real difference for their patients.
The successful candidates at Band 6 will be able to demonstrate that they can manage a dedicated team to deliver care of the highest standards to our patients, while working under pressure.
A minimum of 18 months post-qualification experience in an urgent care setting is desirable, as is evidence of Post Registration education. Potential candidates should also have undertaken their Mentorship.
