Are you a compassionate and resilient individual looking to make a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable children? One of our primary schools in Leeds is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide tailored support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
2. Serve as a positive role model, fostering trust and rapport with vulnerable children.
3. Implement effective strategies to help children develop self-regulation and resilience.
4. Work both in and out of the classroom to support students in various settings.
5. Collaborate with teachers to create a nurturing and structured learning environment.
6. Adapt to a flexible timetable to meet the diverse needs of the students.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Experience working with children, particularly those with SEMH needs.
2. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
3. Creative approach to problem-solving and lesson delivery.
4. Ability to set and maintain clear boundaries from the outset.
