Job Description: Welder/Fabricator
Location: West Midlands, Worcestershire, Kidderminster

Salary: £560 - £640 Per week
Job Duties:
1. To undertake welding and fabricating duties, as required, in accordance with the company's quality standards and best engineering working practices.
2. To undertake activities in a timely and efficient manner in order to maintain company contractual delivery requirements.
3. To assist, where required, in peripheral activities, e.g., testing, assembly, packing, etc.
4. To undertake activities with the management, H&S and environmental systems.
Relevant Experience:
1. Must be experienced in the use of T.I.G & M.I.G welding processes.
2. Must have experience of coded welding in carbon & stainless steels.
3. Experience of S.M.A.W. welding is preferred but not essential.
4. General fabrication experience is essential.
5. Welding of other exotic materials is an advantage but not essential.
6. Minimum GCSE Grade 4 (equivalent grade C) or higher in Maths & English is preferred but not essential.
Experience:
1. Working from engineering drawings.
2. Working to welding procedures.
3. Verbal and written communication skills.
4. Professional personal presentation.
5. Willingness to be flexible.
6. Initiative, Reliability and attention to detail.
Knowledge and Skills:
Proficient in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, ARC), ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, knowledge of different types of metals and their properties, good problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
