The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Leadership Support Team to join a group of Executive Personal Assistants. You will work as part of a team to provide a comprehensive and confidential support service directly to members of the Council’s Corporate Leadership Team (CLT) and members of the Departmental Leadership Team(s) (DLT). You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of a coordinated executive and strategic support function, in order that the leadership teams can successfully discharge the functions of their portfolio and meet the strategic aims of the Council.
The post is a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
About You
We are not just looking for you to have well-developed administration skills, you must also demonstrate that you can develop excellent working relationships and have a commitment to delivering exceptional customer care. The ability to research information, draw conclusions and make proposals for actions based on that research is key to this role. As is the requirement to deliver assertive and clear verbal and written communications, including the ability to convey complex information and proposals and use a variety of presentational mediums where appropriate. You must be flexible in your approach and may be required to work outside of normal office hours on occasion.
