Main duties of the job
As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. Your responsibilities will include assisting residents with their personal hygiene, recognizing and understanding clinical risk areas, and acting courteously towards residents and their visitors while respecting their dignity and individuality.

Shift Details: 7:30 am - 7:30 pm
Your focus as a Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
Other responsibilities will include:
* Assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of individuals at all times.
* Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, sign of infections and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner.
* Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
* Practicing safe systems of work across the range of task.

No previous experience is required, as Avery Healthcare offers a thorough induction and training program to ensure confidence within the role. The ideal candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate initiative and respect towards residents and other team members, be an efficient worker, and be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
