Main duties of the job Provide senior scrub experience to the day to day running of the ophthalmic theatre to ensure the safe, effective, and efficient flow of the theatre pathway. Coordinate the use of the supplies and equipment during a list ensuring the equipment is used in an appropriate and safe manner. Act in the role of the scrub practitioner, undertaking all activities within that role in a professional and proficient manner. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team, providing appropriate surgical instrumentation and equipment.
