You will have outstanding communication, problem-solving, and reasoning skills, as well as the ability to analyze and monitor performance and invoicing data. An autonomous role, you will require extensive knowledge of community equipment and its application in supporting people to remain in the community, maintain engagement in purposeful activities and occupational pursuits. Experience with community equipment pathways, data systems (TCES & Google Sheets or Excel), and excellent communication skills are essential. You must be able to influence development and improvement effectively, and interpret data trends to identify areas of performance improvement and cost control. What the Job Involves As Equipment Lead, you'll join the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames’ Adult Social Care Division to support a system-wide approach across Health and Social Care. You will enable evidence-based decision-making for equipment provision, ensure cost-effective prescription of assistive equipment, and maintain practice excellence. The role involves joint working with hospital colleagues and community professionals, managing spending by monitoring operational actions, and implementing initiatives for value for money. Main duties include budget management, organizing and supporting equipment meetings, providing training and workshops, managing equipment catalogs, and leading on TCES administration. You will report to the ASC Commissioning lead, working across the ASC Commissioning & Operational team.
