As a Configuration and Software Analyst, you will work closely with the Account Lead Configuration Manager to allow the smooth operation of our IT services, support cycles of project testing, and maintain software release management across multiple environments. What you will be doing: Configuration Management: Maintain the information and configuration items required to deliver the IT service, ensuring accurate documentation of system elements, interfaces, and interdependencies. Project Support: Handle application configurations across several environments to support project testing cycles and releases. Audit & Baseline Verification: Carry out Transformation Function & Physical Baseline Verification Audits to support programme requirements. Release Management: Build release and project management baselines, keeping the project teams aligned with the required standards and status updates. Change Management: Update change requests, problem records, and defect records in Dimensions to supervise readiness for testing and live status. Change Control: Review all submissions for IT Change, ensuring vital approvals are in place, and contribute to the administration of the IT Change Schedule. Technology Roadmap: Administer and maintain the technology roadmap, proactively identifying End of Life (EOL) dates for products and working with teams to handle these transitions. What you will bring: Strong understanding of Configuration Management Databases (CMDB) and their role in maintaining service integrity. Solid understanding of Microfocus Dimensions configuration management tool and ServiceNow. It would be great if you had: Hands-on experience with GitLab. ITIL4 Qualification. Familiarity with Jira and Confluence. Experience with MS Visio. Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Gosport.
